This is just a wild prediction here.
I don't have any inside information on this season of BattleStar Galactica.
I just think it would be the perfect twist in the series...based upon the neat little clues they've given so far (as I'm choosing to interpret them).
Clues:
1) In the pilot episode, Lee saves the President's plane from the cylons by sending an EMP burst that simulated a nuclear explosion. And Lee casually explains it away by saying that "Well, this never worked in our simulations, because the cylons would see through it too easily." And everyone just seems grateful that they got lucky. Maybe it wasn't luck. Maybe Lee sent a signal to the cylons to back off.
2) In 2 or 3 different episodes (including the first episode of Season Two) Lee has difficulty killing some bad cylon ship when it really matters. Maybe the writers are just saying that Lee has bad luck or bad aim. OR maybe Lee is fighting his cylon sub-conscious just like Boomer was.
3) Episode 8: They capture and interrogate that one blonde-hair male cylon. And just before President Rosalyn had him thrown out into space, he was in the middle of confessing a lot of truths, and the last thing he said was that "Adama is a cylon". Everyone assumed he meant Commander Adama, but maybe he meant LEE Adama. Maybe Lee came to visit him while he was in jail?
4) Remember that one cylon ground base they blew up? (On some moon) They wanted to bomb a refinery to start an explosive chain-reaction to take out the base. They asked Baltar to figure out where the refinery was on this huge map of the base. Baltar had no clue. He just took a wild guess. And it turned out that he picked the right spot! We just assume that Baltar got real lucky, or had a sub-conscious message from somewhere. But, maybe Baltar DIDN'T pick the right spot. It was Lee who did the bombing, and so Lee knew the right spot to hit in a cylon base. And this also explains how he knew how to navigate the cylon mining tunnels.
I really hope that is what they are setting up here. If not, then they better come up with something even cooler. Because I think my theory makes sense, especially considering that twisted cylon duality of trying to wipe out the human race while still trying to make sure that at least some humans make it back to Earth. (And I could write a whole blog article on the religious symbolism therein.)

Hmm... you really got me thinking about it. The clues are spot on and I think you make a lot of good points.
But... yes, there has to be a but... but, I just don't know how he could be a cylon without his father knowing. Sharon got away with it because her family wasn't around. She had a back story, but never anyone who knew her from before she came in contact with Galactica.
Lee, on the other hand, has a father who pays great attention to details. Perhaps if he went away for a few years and came back replaced by a cylon that would work. But it's difficult to imagine that happening. What happened to the "real Lee" if that's true. He had to have been born and grown up as a human, right?
I thought about the President being a cylon for a while, but her past would have been under a lot of scrutiny as a member of the cabinet. So I ruled that out as well.
Who else could it be? It'd have to be someone D'Anna has seen before. She was aboard Galactica for some time in season 2 and then again briefly in season 3 when they were negotiating for the Eye.
I'd rule out Helo because otherwise I don't think the Hera plot makes sense. The top of my list would be Cally (she never had a last name), Dee (nice way to wrap up the Apollo/Starbuck story), or possibly Tigh (how messed up would he be over that?, plus he had a perfect entrance).
I have been saying exactly the same thing........purely on the basis of the interrogation of Leoben who clearly states that "Adama is a cylon" - and I remembered that right from the second that I heard it.
Lee can not be the last cylon due to fact that the cylon mode 3 Lucy aka Xena clame that 4 out of the 5 were on the fleet and the last was on earth and Ron D Moore clame that the last Cylon is some one you seen from the frist season and when you think about there 6 male Cylon that are known and only 5 female Cylon and remeber that the only reson the Cylon wanted to strat haveing babys as humens so the last cylon is a female and if they were not on the fleet and it some one we seen from season 1 they it is a cast member that got killed some time on the show a female and I hope it is Kat

That's one big long sentence with no hit at a pause between points.
But yes...if I understand you correct...you are right. I made my prediction over 3 years ago, and much has changed since then.
